Captain Planet to the Rescue!
The Captain Planet Foundation (CPF) funds and provides hands-on support to environmental projects for children and youth. The objective is to encourage innovative programs that empower children and youth around the world to work individually and collectively to solve environmental problems in their neighborhoods and communities. In 2007, CPF funded 138 hands-on, environmental education projects, established 12 outdoor classrooms, and planted 41 organic gardens including pollinator gardens, native habitats and edible schoolyards.
