WaterSense, a partnership program sponsored by the U.S. Environmental Protection Agency, makes it easy for Americans to save water and protect the environment. The WaterSense website helps you to learn about WaterSense labeled products, including faucets, toilets, and irrigation systems; saving water; and how businesses and organizations can partner with WaterSense.
Water - Use It Wisely Campaign
The Water - Use It Wisely campaign was launched in 1999 to promote an ongoing water conservation ethic among Arizona's rapidly growing population. Following Arizona's lead, nearly 400 towns, cities, states, utilities, and private and public organizations have adopted the Water - Use It Wisely campaign, making it one of the largest conservation educational outreach programs in the world.
Watersheds of the World
The maps and profiles in this special collection of river basin data portray issues affecting water resources, including land cover and use, population density, and freshwater biodiversity. The data is provided in full by Watersheds of the World Online, a collaborative product of four organizations: IUCN-The World Conservation Union, the International Water Management Institute (IWMI), the Ramsar Convention Bureau, and the World Resources Institute (WRI).
